When we started building 20 years ago, we observed that the quality of homes in our community was consistently sub-par: carbon polluting, cold in winter, hot in summer, and expensive to operate.
We decided to change all that by becoming the leaders in building ultra-low-carbon, energy-efficient homes… and the legislation in BC is finally catching up to us!
BC’s new Energy Step Code means that by 2032, every new home in BC will finally have to be built the way we’ve been building for many years already. Soon, renovations in BC will have to meet the thinkBright bar as well.
But we are not waiting…the challenges of climate change and affordability require solutions that work today.
