While focusing her energy today on thinkBright Homes, Meredith’s past consulting clients include local, regional and provincial governments, numerous non-profit organizations, and the private sector.
Major initiatives led by Meredith include:
- Columbia Basin Water Smart: an innovative and successful six-year water conservation initiative in simultaneous collaboration with 26 communities in the Columbia Basin region.
- Carbon Neutral Kootenays: a program to support local governments in the Kootenay to measure, report, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Climate Action Program: a three-year climate change action program engaging nearly 30 communities in southeastern BC.
Meredith has worked with nearly every community in the Columbia Basin Region, which has built her strong passion for water and place.

As a certified Environmental Professional (EP), Meredith specializes in Environmental Communications and Public Awareness, and Environmental Policy and Legislation.
Through the diversity of her career experience, Meredith has developed a unique skill set that allows her to effectively “translate” complex technical information and data into meaningful, solutions-oriented language that results in positive sustainability outcomes.
Meredith has worked, played, and loved life in the East Kootenay for over 20 years. With passion for a bright future, she has dedicated her career to the pursuit of sustainability solutions that meet that needs of the small but rapidly changing communities and organizations in our Region.
Meredith has led collaborative innovations with a diverse range of professionals to deliver field-leading projects in:
